YOU You drive me to think of possibilities never dreamed of as Starry skies seem to float within arm’s reach. As the flames from the sun dance to my rhythmic vibrations I began to feel a freedom. As the oceans breeze guide my unintended stride. I stroke the limbs of you as the air dancing on your skin. Can you feel the freedom in me? As your breathing speeds and your heart steadily beats harder. Making your chest flow like the waves perfuming our air. I feel your hands that send my body into a state of shock While caressing away walls I never knew stood. My knees dissipate as the brown of my pupils fade. To visualize thoughts leaving like steam in the wind. Catching the weakness in me helping me to stand. Without judgment nor condemnation we love

About the Book
Poetry is a soul-derived intimate moment as pen to paper and as a dancer to the flow of music. As poets of old touch our hearts I want to leave part of my soul on paper for centuries to come. I hope to inspire others to be free in their writing and not be afraid of criticism sure to come. My poetry is passionate. My poetry is about my growth as a female growing forcibly into a Lady so that I was prepared to become a Wife. Life is about growth and without it either forced or respectfully we are lost. I am evolving through my pen with love as the force I was created in. Write leaving an imprint of your soul long after your presence here. Become part of something greater than right now. Express your soul with ink and watch it flourish as planted seeds for future writers.
About the Author
Raised in Houston, Texas, by my father, David Nelson Sr., who also loved to write, I began to write poetry at twelve to express my song. I would rather read and dance versus watching television, so I influenced four of our nine children to do so as they grew/grow up. Once a single mother hoping, now a wife to a special man, Lawrence Jones II, who encouraged me to move past my hesitation and share my writing. I want to influence others to keep writing despite technology because there is nothing like a book.
