Agaba Samuel Rujumba was born in the East African country of Uganda, one of four children to his mother. He attended St Kagwa Bushenyi High School and Masheruka Secondary School, where he composed the school’s anthem and was known for playwriting. He later joined Bugema Adventist Secondary School for Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education before joining Makerere University, Uganda’s prestigious institution of higher learning.
As a child, Samuel loved telling stories, most of which were self-imagined. He could never imagine a single day without telling or listening to a new story, and it’s been that way since he was a child. With a sense of imagination, he still tells stories to children of Hanwell SDA Church in England.
Realizing his stories have moral lessons and were liked by both adults and children, he decided to publish his first children’s story book, Story Time at Hanwel.
