Ngovantao is a Vietnamese Canadian author of seven poetry collections published in Montreal (Canada) and in Ho Chi Minh City (Vietnam). The poems are in Vietnamese, Chinese (Sino-Vietnamese), French, and English. There is in particular the collection Papyrus (published in 2008 edition of Van nghe, Vietnam), a collection of over one hundred French poems, which is “a very testimony of poetry permanence” (Yves Bonnefoy, French poet, a Paul Valery Poetry chair professor at Collège de France–Paris).
