About the Book

Grace Munro’s world was turned upside down in a matter of minutes. Facing the loss of her husband and son was difficult enough, but the media storm that surrounded her in the aftermath left her devastated—all because the man who killed her family was a hometown football hero turned politician. Logan and Gavin Caldwell, brothers by choice rather than blood, watched for days as the media continually hounded Grace Munro. When it appeared that no one would step in to help, they sent two men from their security company in to protect her. Just as Grace’s life begins to get back to normal, news of a settlement comes out, and once again the media begins to circle. This time, instead of sending in other men to help her, the brothers take the job themselves, setting into motion a night that changes Grace forever. Confused by her desire for the brothers and the memory of her night with them, Grace struggles to understand how these two men came to mean so much to her in such a short time. More importantly though, why have they disappeared from her life as quickly as they entered? Then, hit with another loss, Grace’s life spins out of control, and she disappears. It’s up to Logan and Gavin to find her, but can they get to her in time? More importantly, if they do find her, can they convince her that her life should be with them?

About the Author

Logan then decided to try to call her cell phone once again. As he stepped closer to the house, he could hear it ringing from inside. Grace, he knew, would not leave her cell phone behind, so he was almost certain that she was inside. Gavin tried ringing the doorbell, and still there was no movement that they could detect. “I don’t like this, man. What do you want to do?” Gavin asked. Thinking for only a second, Logan took out a small black case from his back pocket. “We’re going in.” It took him only a few tries before he heard the click that indicated the lock was undone. Hoping that she didn’t have an alarm system installed, he gently opened the door, waiting to hear a loud siren. When nothing went off, he opened the door wider and walked in, closely followed by Gavin. Turning on the light in the living room, they looked around and found that nothing looked out of place. Softly Gavin called Grace’s name, but no answer came. Quietly they walked back to Grace’s bedroom, turning the hall light on as they went. When they got to her room and looked towards her bed they could see the form of a body tucked under the covers. From the top of the comforter they could just make out brown hair lying across a white pillow. Logan called her name once again, and still there was no movement. “Sweet Jesus,” he whispered as he moved closer to the bed.
