About the Book
Hamilton's favorite holiday is Halloween, but when his mom doesn't have an outfit, what is he to do? Throughout his day, he finds ideas for costumes, and when he discovers there is a community center contest, he feels the urgency to create his own design. Follow Hamilton throughout his day as he finds ideas about what to be, learns about rules for Halloween safety, and creates his own costume.
About the Author
J. David Moore is an award-winning published educator. He graduated magna cum laude from the University of Memphis. During his teaching career, his classes built the world’s largest salami sandwich and traversed the Mississippi river, for which he received national recognition. Mr. Moore is an advocate for project-based learning and the integration of technology into inner-city schools. Karith Gingrow is responsible for the colorful pages in the Hamilton series. Attaining her degree in Graphic Design from the Philadelphia Art Institute, she currently works from home on many creative endeavours, including raising two boys with her loving husband in Pennsylvania.
