About the Book

Bob Dukes taught Special Education for 31years. He started out in Indianapolis, passed through Minnesota and finally ended up in Dugger where he lasted for 26 years. His book contains stories about his students and how he interacted with them. Bob tries to portray the many challenges they faced every day. He had the upmost respect for his kids and vowed that they would never be just "another brick in the wall".

About the Author

Bob Dukes is a retired special education teacher who taught in the public schools for thirty-one years. He enjoys reading, traveling, music, and sports. He resides in Bloomington, Indiana, with his wife, Tommi.
