About the Author

A prolific writer, outdoor nature fan, and historian, Inge Logenburg Kyler has written stories and poems all her life in between raising a family and working in township government. “I believe we are meant to use the talents that are given to us,” she states, and with that, throughout the years, she has become a prize-winning and widely published poet and author, having written over twenty books as well as writing a column for the Eaton Rapids Flashes newspaper. Along with writing, Inge enjoys doing watercolors, hiking, gardening, being a member of the Poetry Society of Michigan, a docent at the Michigan State Historical Museum and the Woldumar Nature Center, as well as involvement with church and other organizations and activities. Having grown up in the Allegheny Mountains of Pennsylvania, she now lives with her husband, little schnauzer, and cat, in an old farm house out in the country in Michigan.
