I Like My Do

is an exciting colorful story about African American girls and their hair. This is an inspirational journey about all the creative and fun styles that little girls of color can wear. This book’s purpose is to inspire little girls to like, love, embrace, and accept their hair no matter the texture or length. I Like My Do will also encourage little girls to go through the process of getting their hair done for a beautiful outcome.

About the Author

LaDwanya D. Roberts is a native of Washington, DC. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Clark Atlanta University. She is currently the owner and creative director of Eve the Magazine for Girls, which is an online publication for African American girls mainly, but not exclusively, ages seven to twelve. She currently resides in Atlanta, Georgia, with her husband, Keith. They are currently raising their three children, Aaron, Aubrey, and Autumn.
