About the Author

’Deep Thoughts of a Young Jamaican’’, came to life in 2008 while author Veron Peterkin, was in college. As a result of the barrage inks of wisdom on the bedroom walls in his dormitory, wrinkles were often left on beds, after visitors eyes were held in captivity by the thoughts that exuded from his soul. His thoughts first blossomed after his contribution to a devotional exercise, in which he was required to share an impromptu thought with an audience of teachers in training and lecturers who were left totally enthralled.
The author, is a young teacher in his twenties, who has achieved a bachelor of Education in the field of Physical Education Sports and Science. Since then, he has been teaching and coaching athletes for the last eight years. He is also given to voluntarism, as when he is not at work he can be found at neighbouring kindergarten and primary schools helping to nurture passion and develop an active child.
