Room in My Heart provides a genuine look at a child’s feelings as they accept a stepparent and adjust to a new family life. This book encourages the acceptance of love from a new parent without feeling guilty or the need to choose between a birth parent and stepparent.
About the Author
Amy Aalto grew up in Oregon and has cherished books and writing from a young age. When she became a full time mom to her stepson, her dream of writing a children’s book became a mission. With the input of her son and the goal to help other families, she has shared a genuine perspective and story close to her heart. It is a story of the journey her and her son took together and continue to this day. Amy holds a Bachelor of Science in Sociology from the University of Oregon and lives with her family in Oregon.
