About the Book

Grey Faction, the world’s most elite fighting force, is used by governments around the world as a last resort against serial killers, terrorist groups, and people with magic/superhuman abilities. However they are about to face their toughest challenge yet, and even though the leaders of Grey Faction have spent five years dealing with countless deadly opponents, through combat and assassination, the small group will be hard pressed to survive what is to come. The Magistas Syndicate have commissioned the scientist Siegfried to mass produce Seraphim flame clones to eliminate Grey Faction, however Siegfried isn’t one for being controlled, and with the help of the Violet Witch and the fruits of his secret research, he will throw the world into chaos to fulfill his own goals. In the midst of this, a young woman named Reina is hurled into this world, possessing remarkable powers bestowed by the demon Incubo. Could she be the answer to our hopes from the release of war, or bring the world further into chaos? Time will tell.

About the Author

Mark Green was born in Brighton, England, in the late eighties. He grew up in Portslade, a small town along the southern coast. A creative child, Mark would involve himself in anything that perked his interest and merited praise, which included acting in plays, in which he often took the role of lead villain (such as the Sheriff of Nottingham and Iago the Ancient), studying martial arts, singing, painting, and in the last decade, writing novels.

However Mark’s interest in writing first began after his first national TV appearance when he was eleven years old. Entering a writing competition run by the Brighton festival, Mark would win with his haiku poem and was interviewed by the BBC (Meridian) as part of BBC’s coverage of the Brighton Festival.

Mark, during his teenage years, spent his time, writing amateur stories under the alias “NexusDarkworld,” which were made viewable to read online. After five years writing for fun, Mark began to consider going professional, though it wasn’t until after finishing college at the age of eighteen, that he began that goal in earnest. Working long hours during the day in a specialist menswear shop, Mark would then spend his nights writing manuscripts to send to publishers as well as self-publishing to sell at conventions and book fairs, Mark averaged sixteen to eighteen hours work per day over a period of six years, whilst balancing the two roles.

Mark has now published over six books, Grey Faction, the Scalpel Murder, Riverside Mysteries, Melodies of a Madman, Thirteenth Retribution, Jinhai’s Justice (novel and comic), and Nexus Comic. Mark is currently working on several new fantasy novels and comic adaptations of his first novel as well as aspirations for a movie adaptation. Please follow Mark’s progress and new book releases, we hope you enjoy them.
