About the Author

Amanda has had a passion for painting and poetry since she was a little girl. She has always been in touch with nature, growing up with a love for the ocean and mountains in Oregon. An art institute graduate, she spent many years in the design industry, painting and writing as a hobby. It wasn’t until after she met the love of her life in a small beach town in Southern California and starting a family that she became passionate about the magic, love, and hope that one has for a child. Now writing at home on her back porch by the lake in Arkansas with her family by her side, Amanda hopes to share the creative wonder and endearment found through her illustrations and words in many books to come.
