Love…and Get It!

About the Book

The idea of Love and Get It budded when Germaine was the director Vacation Bible School in 1992. During a Bible study prior to VBS that summer, Germaine uncovered the promise of abiding when she did some extensive study of John 14 and 15. Jesus said, “If you abide in me and my words abide in you, ask whatever you wish and it will be given to you.” Germaine noticed that the words were in red ink, and she decided that if Jesus said them, He meant them. His promise was contingent on obedience to His command to love. This book is pretty simple, but until now, no one has concluded that to abide means to obey, and to obey means to love.

About the Author

Germaine Rysdahl is married to Scott Rysdahl, and they have four children. Three sons are grown, and Germaine currently home educates her eighth-grade daughter. This book has been a work in progress for over twenty years, and its main compulsion for publication has been that Germaine needs to read it to be reminded to love. She is thankful for the motivation God has given to us, that if we will just love, then we can have whatever we want.
