As Chico looked up, he wished like the bird he could fly too. But since Chico couldn't he stared to climb, because that's what monkeys do." The first few branches were easy, but Chico still had a long way to go. The higher he went and further he got, Chico started going a little too slow. "Maybe the bird was right, "he said "and this tree is just too tall. Maybe I will never reach to the top, maybe I shouldn't even try at all."

When Chico the monkey becomes curious to see what’s at the top of a great tall tree, he gives it all he can to reach his goal. In his journey, he faces many challenges and learns that will power and determination can take even the smallest monkey to the most unimaginable places.
About the Author
Peter Joseph Di Lisi has a great imagination and loves to write stories that are fun to read along with some great morals so the children can learn great lessons on life. His imaginative characters and rhyming style appeal to children and adults alike. He gets a lot of his inspirations from the children at the elementary school he works at. This will be his first book to be published but has plans for many more stories to come.
