About the Author

Originally from Davao in the Philippines, Fay Ramos moved to the United States in 1968. A grandmother of six, she wanted her grandchildren to learn about their heritage and the language of the Philippines. When she found there were no Filipino books for young children at any of her local bookstores to read to them, she decided to write them herself, beginning with this one.
