About the Book
This inspirational children’s personalized book, “God’s Plan for You,” can benefit anyone, young or old. I want every grandmother, mother, aunt, and uncle all over the world to sow this inspirational book into someone’s life. Attention teenage mothers; mothers who are suffering with addiction or mental illness or are oppressed, depressed; those who are poor, homeless, or fatherless; and those who feel there is no hope or future for you or your children, I want you to know, no matter what state you are in, God still has a plan—according to Jeremiah 29:11—for you and your child or the lives of your children, grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. If you or someone you know doesn’t have children, you still can sow into the life of an orphan child, a neighbor child, or a child you don’t know. This personalized inspirational book is the Word of God that will last a lifetime, a seed that will reap a harvest of spiritual growth and that will change the life of this generation and generations to come. According to Isaiah 55:11 (NJKV), “So shall my word be that goes forth from my mouth, it shall not return unto me void. But it shall accomplish that which I please and shall prosper in the thing where to I sent it.”
About the Author
Can anything good come from Moorhead, Mississippi? Moorhead is where I grew up as a child, a place that, at the time, seemed like there was no hope or future. Born Shirley Ann Sanders to James and Rosie Sanders, I was the seventh of ten children in a place filled with poverty, cotton fields, cotton mills, and racism. After a long hard day in the cotton fields, my parents would gather us around the fireplace and read the Bible to us. While other families were reading about the Three Little Bears and Little Red Riding Hood, we were told Bible stories about Jeremiah and the plan that God had for our lives, about David and Goliath, about Samson, and many more. My parents sowed those seeds when we were little children, and now the seed has grown. I preached my first sermon as a youth minister at the age of eleven. After moving to Atlanta, I continued my ministry as an intercessor for TBN as a prayer partner. I later became a member of Life Line Family Worship Center, under the leadership of Pastor Marlyn Gaines-Thomas. It was there where I was trained as a strong leader and licensed as a minister. I later enrolled at Point University, where I am completing my bachelor’s degree in Christian ministry. I now serve alongside my husband, Eugene Hardison, at Antioch Baptist Church North (Human Services Ministry) and attend classes to become a Christian education teacher, under the leadership of Pastor Cameron M. Alexander, where God inspired me to begin writing inspirational children’s books. Attention all grandmothers, mothers, aunts, and uncles, this is a time to sow the seed “God’s Plan for You” into lives of your grandchildren, children, nieces, and nephew, a seed that will reap a harvest of spiritual growth.
