About the Book

Search Within is a book filled with wonderful, inspirational, and sometimes humorous poetry. It is a book composed of poetry written over the last three decades. This poetry will inspire you and touch your heart just as it has touched the hearts and lives of those who have read Rev. Crandle’s poetry over the years.

About the Author

Reverend Crandle began writing this book over thirty years ago.. A few of his selections—such as “That Holy Home,” “Understanding,” and “Happiness”—have won honorable poet awards. In 1988, Reverend Crandle’s poem “That Holy Home” won the Golden Poets Award. In addition, his poem “Understanding” led to him receiving the honorary American Poetry Poet of Merit Award, and the poem was then published in the 1988 edition of the American Poetry Association’s Anthology. Another poem entitled “Happiness” was also published in 1988 by Sparrowgrass Poetry Forum in a book entitled Poetic Voices of America. “Happiness” was also published by Poetry Center in Orinda, California, in 1988 in a book entitled Many Voices, Many Lands. This was really the beginning of a new era for Reverend Crandle as he continued to write poetry on a regular basis in hopes of bringing peace and happiness to others, including his family, and in hopes of one day publishing this very book.
