About the Author

Valerie Kopotsha RN, Dip NS, PG Dip, MSc Valerie Kopotsha was born in South London her parents immigrated to England from Uganda and Trinidad and she is the second of three children. Valerie is a Poet, Public Speaker, Registered Nurse, entrepreneur and wife who has had an extensive career working in the field of healthcare and with pharmaceutical companies in strategic roles. In addition to being a qualified nurse her academic qualifications include a Diploma in Adult Nursing, Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Neurosciences & a Masters Degree in Obesity: Risks and Prevention. She holds specialist qualifications in Neurosurgical, Neurological & Oncology Nursing and is also a qualified Detox Specialist. Valerie has a natural flare for writing and a passion for words that started in her early childhood. Her poems reflect the varied experiences that she has encountered in her journey through life thus far. Valerie writes from her heart the primary goal of her poetry is to communicate that which is not always easy to say, in the hope that her words will resonate with readers. She believes that these poems were given to her to pass on to all who wish to read them and hopes that all you will be blessed as you laugh, cry, reflect and offer praise with her. This book is a collection of religious poetry she describes these poems as her “conversations with God”. They contain questions that she asked and the answers that have come to her as a “still small voice” in the form of poetry. These poems have been written in gratitude to God and are a tribute to all the people who have been a source of inspiration to her. Valerie also loves nature, cooking vegan & vegetarian dishes and is a keen gardener.
