THE UNKNOWN DIVISION

"Well it goes back to the war in heaven." Priest claimed.
"The war in heaven?" Marcus said shaking his head.
"That's where it starts." Priest said looking at Marcus.
"Do tell." Marcus said eagerly
"Ok this will take sometime. Now everyone knows that Lucifer wanted the throne of God but what people don't know is why." Priest began
"He wanted the power of God." Marcus said thinking on his knowledge.
"That's only half the reason." Priest said
"The fuck you mean?" Marcus asked.
"The other half of the reason was so he could destroy us. Man." Priest told him.
Marcus's eyes went wide.
"What?" Was all Marcus could ask.
"Want to hear the whole thing?" Priest asked slightly annoyed.
"Please do." Marcus said with wonderment.
"Every Angel in heaven went ballistic when the head honcho decided mankind was going to be his new favorite pet. See you have to figure Angels were the top dogs up to that point. God decreed that Angels were not to fuck with us and they would have to accept that. Well they didn't. You see Angels were fucking pissed and I mean everyone of them." Priest began to explain.
Marcus was listening but not sure what he was hearing
"Now Lucifer wanted to prove to God that man was not as perfect as Angels, so he did the whole Adam and Eve thing to prove it." Priest told Marcus.
"Wait. Now I know that Lucifer and the rebel Angels were all ready in hell before Adam and Eve." Marcus pointed out.
"It's a misunderstanding. Now let me finish. After the Adam and Eve debacle God was pissed. Kicked out Adam and Eve out of paradise, and went off on Lucifer. Now time goes on and Lou decides to raise and army and take the throne and get rid of us. Well God knew what Lucifer was doing and let it go." Priest explained.
"Why let something like that go?" Marcus asked.
"A test of loyalty." Priest told him.
I don't presume to know what the fuck God thinks. My understanding is that God let it happen to find out who was loyal. Now there were three sets of Angels during this little uprising. There were Lou and his boys. Michael and the archangels and there soldiers. The third set of Angels well they sat off to the side to see who would win. They fucked up." Priest exclaimed.
Marcus was trying to digest this and it was going against everything he thought he knew.
"Well Lou almost won, but Mike and the archangels put an end to that. Now when punishment was handed out Lucifer and his army were sent to hell. The numbers we really don't know. The word is one third of the heavenly host were tossed out, but exact numbers they keep to them selves. The Angels that sat off to the side well they were sent here to earth to live there lives out as well monsters." Priest explained to Marcus.
Marcus felt his throat get dry and had to take a sip of his drink.
"I don't get why would God send them here?" Marcus asked.
"How the fuck should I know. Not like the big guy tells me everything." Priest responded
" So God sent them to earth to be monsters. What I'm trying to comprehend is what could be gained by that?" Marcus asked thinking on it.
"Don't hurt yourself trying to think on it. Look not all of them became monster. Some became elemental Demons." Priest pointed out
"Yeah. Story is when they were tossed out of Heaven, some hit the earth so hard they became mixed with the earth. Some of those Angels hit the oceans of the earth and became part of the water. Some became entangled in the wind and became part of the wind, and some hit in volcanos and became fire." Priest explained.
"Really. You would think people would see a Demon in water or the air or something." Marcus stated trying to believe what Priest said.
"How often do you even look for something like that?" Priest asked
