The wonder and amazement in children's eyes when her books are read is what inspires her the most! Imagine having to leave the only home and neighborhood you knew and were told you were going to move to a place called the shore. Do the houses float? How do we get to our house? Do we need a boat? About the Author
Born and raised in Philadelphia, Pa. and vacationing at the shore occasionally as a child, she marveled at the simplicity of its lifestyle. Marrying and moving to the shore with her first child, she immediately had "sand in her shoes." After her second child was born, it was to obvious this was where her family needed to be. Now that her children have children of their own with "sand in their shoes," the author wants everyone to know the joy and wonder of living the shore lifestyle.
