DISCOURAGEMENT Death! Death! I have cried to you, But you will not hearken! Flee dizzy dreams and hopes – The gray shadows darken! Life, I have loved you, But you scorned me in return. Life, do not plunge me Where Hell’s fires burn! Death, singing, soaring, Dancing with glee, Savagely roaring – Hasten to me! Deep yawns the abyss, A bottomless pit – Followed by sunlight and joy and bliss – In a heart that is everlasting lit!

The poems in this book were all written by Mary over her lifetime, hence the title.
About the Author
Mary Wronko was born and raised in Edmonton, Alberta Canada. She lived on the family farm where she did a great amount of her writing. She served in the Canadian Army (CWAC), she travelled through most oc Canada, parts of the U.S. and Europe as well as the Northwest Territories which she loved and which inspired her to write her northern poems.
