My name is Haley DeVaushire. I've never walked down the aisle and have zero kids. I think the experience I suffered through years ago was love, but I'm not so sure after talking with numerous of individuals in my life span that, what I was feeling at the time wasn't altogether just plain old infatuation. I'm excited and grateful at this point in my life to have three really true and interesting friends on speed dial:
Aimee - who sees me as beautiful, brainy, bossy, benevolent, breathtaking, blessed, broad-minded, brilliant, and busty.
Emily - who sees me as angelic, articulate, astute, aggressive, analytical, agnostic, absolute, attractive, and amazing.
In Maximo's eyes - I am smart, savvy, sexy, sensible, shapely, successful, stable, striking, scrupulous, and shrewd as hell.
Some of my other friends say I'm fabulous, fun, frugal, and friendly. I say I'm on the uphill side of life, and unquestionably, not going down.

This is a moving story that will make you laugh...and at times...will bring you to tears. It's a story about an unexpected inheritance that uproots Haley's life as she rediscovers who she is. This beautiful woman values family, cherishes real friendships, and is deeply blinded by color. It's a story that will give you faith that true love still exist. You will enjoy timeless music from a radio station that was once on its last leg. And even though life finally seemed wonderful, murder showed up and showed out in the worst way. See if you can guess whodunit!

J Tyson Mitchell is a veteran of the United States Air Force where she traveled here and abroad extensively. When she is not writing, she enjoys classic films, guitar playing, and great comedy. She loves spending quality time with her four grandsons: Kalen D., Sidney Terrell, Sidney Donte, and Sidney Ar’Darrel. This is her second novel and she is currently working on the third.
