"Keith, Keith!" I could hear my wife's voice reaching out to me from some other world. "What?" I asked, looking up from the map. "Look at the bathroom!" "What about it?" "Don't you remember?" she asked. "I turned the light on because it was getting creepy in there, but it's off now!" Looking into the bathroom which was now just as dark as she said it would be, I could feel the energy she had been complaining about. A strong sense of presence seemed to grow and swirl within the darkened room and the feeling that someone was watching us was undeniable. But it was still necessary to check the light. I needed to know if the bulb had simply burned out- or was it turned off at the switch. A pair of eyes seemed to glare at me from some where within the darkness as I entered the bathroom. Searching for the light switch it came as no surprise when I found it in the off position. The sensation Jayne had been complaining about was now overwhelming, and it was impossible for me to stay in the bathroom for a moment longer.
