About the Book

This book is about the importance of knowing how to read. It tells a true to life tale of a young boy named David who thinks that reading is boring. He finds no use for it in real life, that is, until the day he misses the Megaman birthday party all because he could not read. Read this book to find out all about David's adventure the day he realizes that reading IS necessary in everyday life, and learning to read became his number one priority!

About the Author

About the Author

Peggy Hill Rudd has always loved to read. She taught elementary school for 6 years, during which time she realized how much of a problem illiteracy was in young children. She wrote this book in hopes that it may speak to those children who have found no real life reasons to make learning to read a priority. This is her first published book. She lives with her husband, her two children, her four cats and a dog somewhere in Arkansas.
