Gloria I am here about to lose my fucking mind. What has this man done to me? How did I let this get out of my control? Never in my wildest dreams did I, Gloria Diane Thomas, think that there was ever a man out there to take control of me…. mind, body and soul, but there is now and I am spiraling out of control. I can’t sleep, I can’t eat. All I do is think about him. Where is he? Who is he with? When can I see him again? NOOOOOOOOOO! “Get control of yourself Gloria”, I said to myself as I looked in the mirror, not knowing the person that was staring back at me. I was always the cat’s meow. The sister that put it on all the men she dealt with and had them begging for more. Just the thought brought a smile to my face as I remembered all the men whose lives I touched…….literally. Malcolm. The pro football player that was happily married, that was until I came along. He was the quarterback for one of the NFL’s football teams last season, (I don’t do name dropping. It’s bad for business). I met him after his team won the Super Bowl at an after party. Once our eyes met during the team celebration, it was on. After a little innocent flirting on my part and a couple of words in his ear, I was given the key to his hotel suite. When I say the room looked more like a mansion than a hotel room, I knew I had to bring my “A” game. Before Malcolm could get in the room good, I was all over him. I dropped to my knees and did what I called “hello”. Please don’t judge me but a girl got to do what a girl got to do to get what she wants. Needless to say, I said hello in every language…. bonjour, buenos dias, ciao, aloha. You get the idea! After I finished with Malcolm, we were going on exotic trips; I had furs in every style and enough clothes and shoes to change at least 10 times a day. After a couple of months, this started to get boring but Malcolm didn’t see it that way.

About the Author
My name is Diandra Staton, and I reside in Decatur, Georgia by way of Southside Jamaica, Queens, NY and is the mother of seven. When you have children you have no choice but to have an imagination. Writing is something that has fascinated me since childhood because writing vibrantly brings to life ones inner thoughts and suppressed ideas. But as time progressed, I found writing to be more of a therapeutic factor in my life. I would write in journals, on napkins or whatever was available so that I could express what were my innermost thoughts, fantasies or ideas at the time as well as relieving stress; this was the beginning of my journey. One day, after the death of a very close friend, I put pen to paper and the words just came to me like water flowing through a brook, and that lead to the development of my first book, Opened. I am now in the process of writing my next book Never did I think that I would be an author, but here I am!
