About the Book

Based on the life of a real pet monkey her family had at home, she hopes Cheeky Monkey will amuse the children who read it but also shed light on the fact that we share the planet with other creatures, too, whose natural lives are best lived out in the wild.

About the Author

Joyce Otu was born in Ghana, West Africa. She has lived in England for the past twenty-nine years and works as a midwife.

Having such retentive and fond memories of books she read and plays she watched in her earlier years of primary school, she’s always had a desire to add to the entertainment of young children in any way she could.
