About the Book

The Tie takes place in a small mid-western town. The two main characters, meet in college and begin a love affair that spans their lifetime. The couple go through many wonderful, yet sometimes trying times. These unique characters and their families will hopefully be remembered for many years to come as a love that would withstand time’s watchful winsomeness.

About the Author

The two authors that make up the writing team, RayLee Powers grew up in a small mid-western town together. Their backgrounds varied, one being a paralegal and one a housewife. Family takes precedents for both the women. They have enjoyed the process of writing this, their first novel and hope you enjoy as well.
