It was a cold morning when Mummy woke Chloé up and told her it was time to go to the train station to pick Grandma up. She snuggled under the bedclothes for a few more moments and then, grabbing Smoky, her little toy monkey, she rushed to the bathroom to get ready. Mummy had lain out her favourite warm pullover and tights so, after getting dressed, she went down for breakfast. Daddy was sitting at the table reading the newspaper and he popped his head up and said good morning with a funny face that made her laugh.

About the Book
The story is intended for 3 to 6 year-olds. A small girl has a dream about a little pink train full of playful fairies and gnomes. She awakes, but the dream continues in the form of her grandmother visiting her and bringing a little pink train as a present.
About the Author
After publishing 7 books in various genres, Yvonne Taylor decided to write a short story for her granddaughter who is 5 years old. It is a stroke of luck that her granddaughter's mother is an excellent artist and agreed to illustrate the book. Today, more than ever, it is necessary to take the time to sit a child on your lap and read from a colourful book. This allows the fantasy of the child to develop by following the illustrations and forming their own personal impression. Yvonne Taylor has travelled the world and taught languages and believes that children are the same the world over. They all need undivided attention from their parents and how better to give that than by reading them a story which has been fancifully illustrated.
