About the Authors: They met in South Florida in the summer of 2010. They soon learned that they had something in common; both lost a spouse to cancer. They spent months talking about the experience, including sharing fond memories of their loved ones. In time, he learned that she was a nature photographer. She was particularly interested in birds. Seeing her work, he eventually developed the idea for this book. As fans of Smokey Robinson they decided to combine intimate photos of birds with lyrics of Smokey’s intimate love songs.
