This book is about two sisters; who are stuck in the house and school during bad weathers days. One sister utilizes her time by reading and doing other activities. The other sister waste time, by sitting around complaining about there’s nothing to do in the house. While at school the teacher gathers information and activities to teach the children about bad weather days; and provides fun science activities. She also teaches them how to prepare and make a First Aid kit. The book also has a Lesson Plan, Parent and Child Activity, Poem, Group Activity, Song and other information.

About the Book
This book is a great read for children 3-12 years of age. There are fun activities that will keep children busy while learning about the weather. The children will get information about Hurricanes, Tornadoes, Cold Winter Days and extra Hot Days. The children will learn how to be helpful to their parents, siblings, elders and others in need of assistance. They will learn how to be prepared by knowing what to pack during an evacuation and how to remain calm. This book is also school friendly; it has a Lesson Plan, Group Activity, Parent and Child Activity, Poem and Song. This is a book the whole family and school can use to learn and have fun.
About the Author
One of five children, Brenda Lee Thomas was born in Beaumont, TX. Ms. Thomas had a love for writing as early as the young age of eight years old. She realized that writing was her gift, when she needed to do a book report for her middle-school reading class, but was not able to get to the library to check out a book to do some research for the report. The night before going to bed, instead of returning to class empty-handed, from exasperation and an imaginative mind, she created a story, equally as exciting, and wrote a report, her own story, to turn into class the next day. The book report was given an “A” and that is when all the writing began: short stories, poems and songs.
