About the Book

A boy who was adopted by an ebullient owner of a thriving Las Vegas casino, but was born as a laiving composite. His entire torso was an unobstructed rendition of a "flat top" slot machine. A tale of high action, but deep insights into one who is handicapped, and where love takes the often chaotic foreground of this little family. The child is actually a mystical King, the "King of the Slot Machines," and came here on his own accord as a diving "mission" to communicate the needs of his gentle slot machines of the world. However in the process, he succumbs to a myriad of medical afflictions from being birthed in this manner, which he was known as the "CASINO CHILD." He pases away from his body's reluctant holdings, but long prior to his death, he touches lives of those around the Las Vegas gambling strip in a perplexity of ways; making the slot machines respond by a mere spoken word or a whispering conversation. Facing catastrophic loneliness and truthfully realizing life from no longer the perspective of his obedient slot machines, he brings people into the state of awareness in ways not normally achieved. When the child passes away at his father's sparking casino at night, the entire strip is doused into an inky blacknes, as every slot machine the world over, mourns for the death of their gentle and mystical King and Creator, has passed into the very Heaven He has long ago created for his quiet and gentle own. 'King of the Slot Machines" came to his parents in a dream three days after his passing, and bequeathed his divine knowledge about his mission-"to communicate the needs of his slot machines, but perhaps "our" needs as well."

About the Author

Lama Milkweed L. Augustine PhD DD has written a total of 14 books throughout her career, and has received many awards for her endeavors. Milkweed has won honors for her loving work on behalf of condemned inmates, namely the "Conrad Hilton Humanitarian Award" and was nominated on other occasions in the Buddhist church. She was awarded her name on the "Wall of Hope" in Washington, DC, and on the "Wall of Tolerance" in Va in a major museum. She was twise recognized by the 14th Dalai Lama and became endowed with the title as Her Holiness; The Most Venerable Lama Rimpoche, Miss Prof. Milkweed L. Augustine PhD DD. Lama Milkweed Augustine was born in December 26th, 1966 in Stoughton, Masachusetts during a blizzard and nearly died while being birthed by her mother Marguerite Augustine; the very individual who the author joyfully and uninhibitedly mentions in all of her works of nonfiction, as well as implicates in those of fiction. She has been nominated for the esteemed "Pulitzer Prize" in 2008 for her well known and recognized book title 'The Milkweed Prophesy; Epitaph of the Apocalypse" originally published in 2006. Lama Milkweed Augustine also assisted many worldwide efforts for peace, and with the Holy Catholic Church as well as her opposing religious faith, Mahayana Buddhism, and Tantric Buddhism, which is the highest denomination. She has assisted the FBI on many accounts in the early part of this century. A gifted artist, and a well acclaimed Theologian who studied for a lifetime as she received her PhD in Sacred Theology and Philosophy, and earlier in her 28th year, in 1995, received her Doctorate of Divinity, making her a Buddhist Lama, a Priestess who was also a medical monk who later learned the field of mortuary sciencens and embalming. A slot machine technician and one who spent her childhood servicing pinball machines, as she made well known in her recent most publicated in 2012, "Dying and Loving It." She is presently receiving pallative care in Boston, Massachusetts, and will be finally under the complete care of a Hospice team. Lama Milkweed L. Augustine PhD is blessed with a myriad of catastrophic medical def ects, and suffers from "Werner's Progeria," and is the 20th albino worldwide with complete Alpha 1 Dytripsom deficiency, hence even her TPN, or iv nutrition is no longer sustaining her dying body. Losing the lifelong battle, this beautiful representative of the cloth and of God, rejoices in the avid truths she has so professed her entire life span, and despite being born physically handicapped, and denied every possible chance at a normal life, a life spent redundently devoid of human contacts and friendship-save for her pinball machies and slot machines, is completely and succinctly alone. However, Lama Milkweed, also an avid Christian; a Roman and Latin Rite Catholic, avidly professes the Sacraments of her two faiths to the world. Soon to lose her life, this couragious woman of the cloth; this gentle Priestess, avidly teaches and touches people who never even will know her. Lama Milkweed was also numerously asked to speak at the "Smithsonian Institute in 2003 at the age of thirty-six. She is also well known and respected in the Tibetan communities in Boston and in Sommerville, Mssachusetts, and other adjacent places of geography.
