About the Book
In 1970 Yung Yung arrives in New York City where it is rare to see a young Asian woman outside of Chinatown. Modern Dance icon Martha Graham has recruited Yung Yung while on a visit to Taipei where the brilliant young dancer’s journey begins. About the Author
Marilyn Meeske Sorel is a Pulitzer nominee for a six-part print series Vera. My Child, a story of the death camps. She taught and conducted writing seminars at UCLA, Dept of the Arts for some years. Her co-author, Yung Yung Tsuai, dancer/choreographer, a faculty member of the Martha Graham School of Dance.
