This was my first step to being a boss. I explained to him that I'd be gone for a month or two, and guaranteed within the month more than half of that product would be gone. I was so sure of this, I told Black to take the first $2000 right off the top.
He was excited and asked. “Manny are you sure?”
I in turn answered confidently, “Of course I am cause its gonna be that easy,” I added, “Baby, and Juan will be coming to you from time to time as well, if they need an eight ball or so!”
He asked me how much he should charge them and how many 20s he should give them if they did happen to come by for this amount. Since Marcus was new, he didn't really know the weight of an eight ball or how much you can make off one, so I broke it down for him, as well as for Baby and Juan.
I explained to him, “Black, usually you would pay one hundred fifty, to make three hundred fifty, to four hundred dollars. But because it took us all that work of breaking it down and bagging it up, they would pay one hundred fifty dollars for a fixed amount of three hundred dollars worth of twenties, meaning they’ll get 15 bumps already pre-bagged every time they come with one hundred fifty dollars!”
Although Baby and Juan knew the size of an eight ball and what they could make, before I left to Puerto Rico, they agreed to my terms because everything was pre-packed for them, and they understood you always pay a little more for the labor. I had also made it clear that if they didn't have the money for whatever reason, they could not get any more through Black, unless he called me in Puerto Rico and I okayed it. This happened once or twice, with Baby, where the cops rushed him and in order to escape he had to throw the product away.
There was also another time where he told me he thought Antonio might've seen where he stashed his drugs and stole them. He never really trusted Antonio and held no bones about it. With Baby, I never had any problems, so I would okay it. Juan on the other hand, knew not to come with any cockamamie stories because he wouldn't get anything point blank. I loved Juan, but he was slipping, I knew it the night I slept over his house and he asked me if I wanted to try smoking that shit with him.
But to make a long story short when I came back from Puerto Rico, Black made his $2000, and gave me just under $7000. I don't remember exactly how much it was, but I know it wasn’t off by much, and now I was ready to do bigger and better things. I remember right after this, Black telling me, “Manny man, I think I'm gonna buy the coke off of you and sell it at the Terrace myself!”
I then warned, “You could do that Black, but it's dangerous because there are so many cops watching the area!”
He told me he was willing to take the chance. See prior, I had also told Black that at the Terrace, if you had the product in bulk you could make an easy $1000 to $2000 dollars in a day. I also told him it was possible to get into some kind of scuffle, or gunfight with someone because you would be taking money away from them. Black was humble, but he was tough and he understood.
I say this because mostly everyone at the Terrace was young cats who were buying at the most about a half ounce. They would make their money, and then go spend most of it on clothes never really elevating in the game. So if they felt like you were making too much money, you would definitely get approached by a few of them at the same time. If anyone came at you alone it would be a grown hustler that was feeling the pain in his pockets. I know because it happened to me on both sides of the scale while I was over there.
I always stood my ground and was ready to fight so no one really messed with me. But a lot of these cats later on in life would have grudges against me, and word would soon spread that cats were talking about killing me. Although I didn't show it, I took this very seriously and started getting prepared for whatever whenever. The aggressiveness was starting to become more and more apparent in me.

This autobiography is about a characters transition from a curious child, to an evil adolescent into a highly self-secure spiritual man.
As a child he loves and is very close to his grandmother, whom although poor, she’s always happy,very spiritual and the only real example of anyone being close to God.
He loves to sit down with her and listen curiously as she discribes the beauty of heaven, aswell as reads and explaines, the at times grim prophecies of the bible. Still to young to understand,he would remain a confused and bitter unbeliever, due to all the pain and suffering that surrounded him on a daily basis.
He’s a child growing up in a very tough racially divided community,who never looks for trouble but trouble always finds him. At first he could care less and isn’t impressed by the hoods in the fast life. But on the surface,compared to his mother and any hard working individual,it was the hoods that had it all.
So by the time he’d become an adolescent, he’s tired of being poor,any good he had left in him has faded and he vows to do whatever it takes to get ahead even if he has to kill!
In the process he prays to the devil, makes an abundance of money,gains power and attains an unbelievable amount of notoriety. He’d become almost uncontrollable to the point, where he’s very aware but dosn’t care, that he only has two stops left, life in prison or eternal death in hell!
Untill one fateful day when he’s made to think about his only son, after a crime he’d commited that could have hurt or even killed an enemies innocent kids and thus began his road to repentance.
