Imaginary Heart

About the Book

This book was conceived in me when I became aware that what I did or did not do with my body became more important to others than the heart that lived within me. I used the word imaginary in its title because it best described my unseen heart. The images in one’s mind far outweighed the reality of all the good that was truly in me. My greater goal for this book though, was to prove through God’s Word that there is a salvation in each and every one of us; no matter who we are, no matter what our walk. Each one of us is the “whosoever” that Jesus died for. And that this gift of salvation cannot be stolen nor stripped away from a single soul; no matter what! These are not my words. This is God’s promise. Just as you are! Just as I am!

About the Author

I currently live in Grand Rapids, Michigan. I began writing over ten years ago. My writings began when I developed a sense of urgency to address childhood incest and to express the lasting effects it had in my own life so I wrote, “Splinters from my Rocking Chair – A Journey Through Incest Survival”. After awakening this deep, dark part of my life, I then also became very aware of all the splendors in my life. This led me to write, “Whispers from my Rocking Chair – The Transformation of an Incest Survivor”. Before I could finish the book “Whispers”, a seed was planted in me to write yet another book. This book, “Imaginary Heart” was conceived in me. It has taken me many years and a great wrestling with God to understand His calling on me to complete this book. All the answers came to me when one day God simply said to me, “You tell your truth and I will tell My truth.” Everything flowed from then on out. One of my favorite hobbies is photography. I am grateful for the opportunity to share just some of my photos in the creative design of the covers and interiors of my three books; His three books. In moving forward, I believe that God is not done with me and that I need to write yet again. This time it will be about the wonderment of all God has created and of all things seen.
