Pin & Gvïn, and the Star

Far far away, in a place where the stars shine bright and the night sky glows pink and turquoise; where fields of snow stretch far beyond the horizon and giant clusters of ice drift through deep cold waters, live two little penguins: Pin and Gvïn.

Pin and Gvïn look so much alike that even the wisest animal in the Ice Village, the Sage Walrus, could not tell them apart. Pin and Gvïn spend their days playing on the ice and fishing in the icy ocean waters. But their absolute favourite thing to do is to look at the dazzling bright stars in the night sky.

On one particularly starry night, Pin and Gvïn sat outside their cozy little igloo looking at the millions of stars that sparkled above their little heads.

The sky was sprinkled with big stars and smaller ones, too; stars dancing full of light and others in shades of blue. But there was one star that shone bigger and brighter than all. It was so magnificent that to Pin and Gvïn all the stars in the sky seemed to disappear except for that one.
