Truth Is…

POW I’m a POW. Born into this world without permission. Grew without restraints from myself but society, swallowing me and spitting me up like sour candy. The choice to live I had, but never the decision on how to live. The struggling day to day alone I felt I couldn’t bear, Yet the actual movement I came to find was the Freedom that set all mankind… apart from the rest. Once I became that grown ass individual… I became a … prisoner of this world. Poverty given to mankind as a gift, absent minded to the people who truly go without seems to be greater than the war itself, and the love we are suppose to act as if we have for our country, is another way of saying “we don’t want to go without, so let’s pretend to not be hateful, and paralyzed in a world of destruction and chaos known to man. We seem to be wise enough to know the truth, But not knowledgeable nor famed enough to have our names in the election ballet for the upcoming race. I’ve learned being in this world, can be lonely. You do what’s necessary to stay alive, And somewhere along the way, You’ll find a way to a house you will try to make your home and maybe along the way a friend to truly call loyal. POW
