About the Author

Oleg Karpovich, a doctor of law science, professor Graduated with honors from the Moscow state institute for foreign affairs (university) of the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Russia. In 1988 defended a dissertation on the topic of “International legal problems of European security”, in 2003 - a doctor's degree dissertation on the topic of “Criminal legal problems of entrepreneurship in Russia and several European countries”. The author of a number of publications on the international law, criminal law of Russia and foreign states, a professor of department of criminal law of the Moscow institute of law, the chief editor of magazine “External trade law”, a member of the Executive committee of the Russian academy of law science.
