About the Book

Everyone has fears about going to school for the first time, and Mac Bear is no different. In the first book of The Adventures of Mac and Moose, we follow Mac through his anxiety of leaving Mama Bear for the first time and having to make friends on his own. But what Mac doesn’t know is the fun that awaits him behind the door of the Bumblebee Room.

About the Author

Katlyn Joy is a recent graduate from the University of Texas at San Antonio majoring in English with a concentration in creative writing. Throughout her time there, she has been praised on her abilities to draw in the reader of all ages to her simple life lessons for children. She is currently working on an entire series based off of Mac and Moose to help children get through what they might find to be difficult situations.
