About the Book

"Bella's Magical Umbrella" is at the heart of it, a story about the power of friendship. As the main characters, Bella Bunny and Trudy embark on their first adventure together and quickly learn that the true magic that happens comes from the realization that their friends are true. As the first release in the "Growing With Grace" Series, readers are also introduced to the adorable characters Robbie Bobbie, Mona Monkey and Karla Q. Each one lending their own unique voice to the storyline.

About the Author

Grace Mitjans is a 10 year old 5th grader and native of Central Florida. As an avid reader and writer, Grace derives her inspiration from family and friends. Her love of animals is a common thread throughout her stories. With the help of her mom and co-writer Jacqueline, she creates stories and characters that are geared for early readers. By doing so she hopes to inspire and motivate them to share their thoughts and ideas. When asked by her mom what she wanted to be when she grew up, Grace replied that she wanted to be an entrepreneur. Together they have formed the "Growing With Grace Company" whose aim is to publish books and other merchandise that showcase their original characters Bella Bunny, Trudy, Mona Monkey, Robbie Bobbie and Karla Q. To show a commitment to early literacy, the Growing With Grace Company plans to use a portion of the proceeds from sales to help fund creative arts projects at local schools.
