There once was a tree that stood alone and still, rested atop a tall green hill. She did not grow too tall and on her branches grew red pomegranates in the fall.

Once upon a time, atop a tall green hill there lived a beautiful pomegranate tree. It bore beautiful red fruit and was a perfect place to make a home. But the tree was lonely and needed a friend to eat her fruit and stay near her to help keep her company on the lonely green hill. Then one day, a blue jay visits her, and she is never lonely again for now she has a new friend.
About the Author
Parvin Mavaneh is a writer, poet, and artist. She Loves the arts and loves to read. She is of kurdish Iranian descent and got the inspiration for her Book The Pomegranate Tree and the Blue Jay from her heritage, which favors nature and animals as well as poetry. She is also a humanitarian and hopes to one day help create a better life for children living in poverty .
