About the Book

This is a chapter out of the life of Mary L. Burch. She encountered a difficult time while pregnant with her fifth child. Mary had very bad morning sickness and medication had been prescribed that caused an adverse effect on her unborn baby. Mary L. Burch found that having a Special Needs child only enhanced her life and gave her wisdom, understanding, and knowledge to become and advocate for the Developmentally Disabled. The book is written for Christy her precious gift from God.

About the Author

Mary L. Burch is originally from Arkansas. She traveled with her family across the country following the crops to work in the fields along the side of her parents. Her family finally settled in Central California where she started to build her life and raise a family of her own. Life's experiences took her through many avenues encountering many challenges that built her tenacious character. Today she is very active within her community as an advocate for the Developmentally Disabled, and the Elderly.
