Snowy Snow
Here comes that fluffy snow, that we welcome so,
Many different shapes have those flakes of snow,
Coming down leisurely, and saying hello,
Happily playing about, they kiss our brow,
Oh how children love making snowballs to throw,
It is mother nature’s special winter show,
Silently it makes the scene all white so slow,
It couldn’t be better done by Angelo,
A blessing to some to others it is woe,
For those unlucky ones cut off, it’s sorrow,
Bringing with it cold weather, under zero,
Letting all those chimneys smoke their heads off so,
Rivers and springs increase and some overflow,
Nourishing the soil for the crops to follow,
Some only like to watch it through their window,
Those loved snow games, many young ones under go,
Snow is the most beautiful thing, we all know,
That falls from high skies above, down here below.
Inner Beauty
Artists can draw and paint beauty of a face,
And scenery with splendor of any place,
But they can never show, even in any case,
That sweetest rarest warmth of your enclosed grace,
No brush can reach beauty inside to embrace,
All the talents cannot even give a trace,
The beauty I see glows from your inner base,
Flows in your caring touch, no one can replace,
Years can age greatest beauty of any face,
But beauty inside, years can never erase,
No words express inner beauty though they chase,
No arts can penetrate inner beauty’s space.

About the Book
Most of my poems are from life, love and mother nature and I write About everything that happens around me and about anything on this earth that comes to my mind and about our inner feelings which most of all have , such as love so pure for our children and our loved ones and I never forget to thank our Great Creator for everything He has given us. As these days most people forget to thank our Creator for all the blessings we have especially these days such as the high technology, The Internet, mobiles, computers and all the home appliances most of us have. This is my first book in poetry which I hope the reader of it will enjoy it as I enjoyed writing each word and sentence.
About the Author
I was born on June 24, 1931 in the town of Grand Haven, Michigan. When I finished Junior High there, my family moved to Damascus, Syria. There I continued my studies. I first worked as an English School Teacher in High Schools .After five years I got a job as Head of Public Relations with Syrian Insurance Company for sixteen years. Then in 1991,I returned to the U.S.A. and got a job with Metropolitan Insurance Co. In St. Louis, Missouri as Tele Communicator. In 2003 I returned to Damascus , Syria and got a job in the Private Tutor Program with the American Language Center ALC in Damascus, until 2012 because of the events in the revolution , the A. L. C. has been closed down , but I still give private lessons at home. In my spare time I enjoyed reading poetry, in 1975 I began writing my first poems, later my dear daughter and dear son encouraged me to publish my work.
