THE GREAT COMMISION Jesus came and spoke unto them, saying, all power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations baptizing them in the name Of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always; even unto the end of the world Amen (Matthew 28: 18-20). In addition, he said unto them go ye into the entire world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. In addition, these signs shall follow them that believe; in my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; they shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover (Mark 16: 15-18). God intended for his Church to spread His Word abroad through the whole world from the early part of his kingdom. Now it will come about that in the last days, the mountain of the house of the LORD will be established as the chief of the mountains, and will be raised above the hills; and all the nations will stream to it. And many people’s will come and say, “Come, let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob; that He may teach us concerning His ways, and that we may walk in His paths.” For the law will go forth from Zion, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem. (NAS) Isaiah 2: 2-3. The message of the Gospel was so vital that any belief in it would demand an evangelistic proclamation! But having the same spirit of faith, according to what is written, "I believed, therefore I spoke," we also believe, therefore also we speak; (NAS) 2 Corinthians 4:13. In fact the compulsion for evangelism is also a part of God’s emphasis on the proclamation of His Word! For if I preach the gospel, I have nothing to boast of, for I am under compulsion; for woe is me if I do not preach the gospel. (NAS) 1 Corinthians 9:16

About the Author
Quincy D. Melvin Sr. is a Preacher, Evangelist, Author and Motivational Speaker. He has influenced many by the love of God and has touched many through God’s word. Quincy was anointed and appointed for the instruction of new and old christian converts. Although his life growing up was likened to Timothy in the bible raised by two God fearing women and considered to be the “least likely to succeed”, Quincy had his own personal encounter with the Lord by the early age of 20 years old and his life was changed forever. He truly has the heart of the Evangelist and is well able to operate effectively in other areas of the five fold ministering gifts. He takes pride in teaching and preaching the gospel of Jesus the Christ in tact through various outreach ministries such as radio, hospital, prison, nursing home and street ministry. His secular learning came from the University of Phoenix, where he obtained the degree of Bachelor of Science in Management; he studied the scriptures under Lighthouse Christian College where he obtained the degree of Bachelor of Theology. His passion is the study of church history .Quincy is also a motivational speaker, an author and founder of Gods Kingdom Preachers Evangelistic Association. Ordained into Pastoral ministry, Pastor Quincy D. Melvin Sr. and his wife Pastor Annette Melvin are the auxiliary leaders for the Evangelism ministry at Good News Church under the leadership of Bishop Dr. Dorothy Washington. He is known as a church leader and watchman on the wall for the body of Christ. Minister Quincy and his devoted wife Annette resides in TX with their four children.
