About the Author
Andre Smith was born on 13 December 1992 in St. Andrew Jamaica. The youngest member so far on the Project A Team, he is a budding writer, photographer, artist and entrepreneur who is etching out his niche on this rock we call earth. His unique ideas allow him to use different mediums to bring his stories across in very interesting ways. A talented “all-rounder” with a matching personality to boot. He hopes to use his talents to better the Caribbean as best as he can. Tara aka Tara was born in Kingston Jamaica on May 25, 1989. To the dismay of the world, she gave up being a world class super model to become a world class super artist (much to the delight of Project A). She started drawing as a wee little girl trying to copy her mother’s art pieces and since then finds great glee in bringing her imagination to life. As she put it “I love conceptual art works and surrealism because they focus on expressing emotions and gives different perspective on daily life. However, I find any type of art beautiful and inspiring”. Currently studying digital art and design in New York she hopes to use her art as a beacon of inspiration. The leader of this band of art ninjas, Chris was born in St. Thomas, the US Virgin Islands on April 4, 1989 and was raised in St. Andrew Jamaica. This “Jack of all trades” has his commercial pilot’s license, teaches aviation, has his bachelor’s in Business Marketing and is the brain child and Creative Director of the upcoming hit game “Journey of Kahn”. Oh, and he wrote a children’s book. He started drawing from as far back as he can remember and remembers the first doodle he made at 3. “Art has always been important to me, both as a source of comfort and now as my chance to spearhead the next cultural development of my people”. He is studying for his MBA and hopes to be able to create a source of culturally significant work his and the future generation can enjoy.
