About the Book

The Peak is a collection of poems dealing with unique subjects: human dignity, courage, appreciation of nature, and materialism. These verses not only encourage you to go through tough times, but they also refresh your mood and mind with their highly musical rhymes.

About the Author

I have had a passion for writing. I believe that the ability to write poems is a gift. As a poet, I am a sensitive person. When I am touched deeply by any moment or situation, verses automatically come from my pen. My father recognised my passion for poetry. He not only supplied me with books of literature but also advised me to study literature, so as to provide a direction for my passion. Following his advice, I studied English literature, and in 2001 I earned an MA from the University of Sindh, Pakistan. While I was a student there, some of my poems were published in Anglican Magazine. The Department of English at the University of Sindh awarded me a certificate of appreciation for best original poem. A few months after completing my master’s degree in English literature, I was hired as an English language teacher at the University of Sindh, where I served for five years. In 2005, I decided to further my education. In 2007, I moved to London, United Kingdom, where I earned an advanced diploma in business studies and an MBA from Heriot-Watt University. I currently live in London.
