About the Author

I have a master's degree in Family and Consumer Science with an emphasis in Child and Family Studies from the University of Tennessee at Martin. I run a small private preschool in my home. I am also a former homeschooling mom. I have been married to my wonderful husband, Terry, for 25 years. We have 3 children and 2 grandchildren. My oldest granddaughter is my "official editor." We now reside in Paris, TN, but I am originally from the Hollow Rock/Bruceton, TN area. I work more than a normal person should, but when I do have downtime, I read.
