MAN AND HIS GOD

(God of Money) In ancient times, the medium of exchange was almost always precious metals such as gold, silver, nickel, brass or copper. Mined and minted into coins by the various governments. With the imprint of those governments and their rulers and the designation of the coin's value according to what the government said it was worth. As a government became more and more decadent, corrupt and dishonest, its money became more dishonest, until the people found that the coins were no longer being made of pure gold and silver but filled with other less valuable metals: The gold coins became more brass and copper than gold, and the silver coins became more nickel, zinc or lead, etc. During Franklin's time, in the 17e century, workers were paid with tickets called 'Green Back' in U.S.A. History tells that the devaluation of this currency was exorbitant and in addition the English banker benefitted from an active interest up to 24%. This exploitation still exists today with the credit cards. Bankers representative today have some of the highest salary. Paper money is a fairly new thing in world history, which our clever capitalistic governments quickly latched on to as a much more convenient means of exchange than actual metal coins… A large bill of Money hypnotizes several heads today. What is the real meaning to that? The power to buy anything, a power of freedom to travel, a power to purchase several services, leisure, studies, shows, get out time, etc. However, today, it’s the Teller cart and the large amounts of money in bank account that excels, but it’s always money. Are we indeed detached from it? Maybe per moment, but it’s difficult. Especially for those who mostly live in the capitalistic countries with all those goodies around. Let's admit it, money is a God. (God of Science) But what about these radio-active dating methods that they use to try to prove the earth & mankind are so many million or billion years old, contrary to the bible? These methods are based on pure assumption & theory! Take the carbon-14 method, for example: this means of dating is based on the amount of radioactive carbon found in the remains of once-living organisms. This radioactive carbon, or radio-carbon, is a substance which is formed by the sun's cosmic rays as they enter the earth's atmosphere. It is then absorbed only by living plants & animals. So when the organism dies, the C-14 in its remains begins to slowly decay & is not replaced, hence the paleontologist tries to measure the amounts of C-14 left in his fossil to determine how old it is. However, "one of the main assumptions of C-14 dating, according to "science" magazine, "is that the atmospheric radiocarbon level has held steady over the age-range to which the method applies." (1) But what if the C-14 level has not held steady, what if it has changed? "Science digest" answers: "It most certainly would ruin some of our carefully developed methods of dating things from the past. ... If the level of carbon-14 was less in the past, due to a greater magnetic shielding from cosmic rays, then our estimates for the time that has elapsed since the life of the organism will be too long." (2) And this is exactly what has happened! The level of carbon-14 was less in the past! Not only due to a greater magnetic shielding, but at least due to a great moisture covering which the bible calls "the waters which were above the firmament" or atmosphere. (See Gen.1:6,7) This water-blanket veiled the earth, protecting it from the powerful cosmic rays! But during the flood, when God opened up the fountains of the deep, & the heavens poured down & it rained for 40 days & 40 nights, apparently that envelope of moisture that protected us from those harmful cosmic rays was removed. The fact that these "waters above the firmament" did shield the earth from these C-14 forming cosmic rays is made apparent in the scriptures: immediately after the flood men's lives were shortened to almost one-tenth of what they were before the flood! So what does all of this prove? It proves that their big assumption that "the atmospheric radio-carbon level has held steady over the age-range" is a false assumption! It has not held steady, as the present atmospheric conditions didn't even come into existence until after the flood! So their "carefully developed methods of dating things from the past" are "ruined"! And their "estimates of the time that has elapsed since the life of the organism" are "too long"! Even "science year" has confessed, "scientists have found that the C-14 concentration in the air & in the seas has not remained constant over the years, as originally supposed." (3) (God of Love) The Easter story What is this business about these other bodies getting resurrected? It does not say their spirits. "It says many of the bodies of the saints which slept arose & came out of the graves after His resurrection & went into the Holy City & appeared unto many." (Mt.27:52, 53.) Jesus was not the only one who rose from the dead on Easter! Is that quite a bomb? Did you ever notice what Jesus said after he rose from the dead? Go & tell the disciples & Peter. Now why did He say that?—wasn’t Peter a disciple? Had he lost his Salvation through his denial of Christ? Why do you suppose He said "& Peter"? Peter probably thought he had lost his Salvation. He probably thought he'd forfeited his discipleship through his denial. The Lord wanted to let him know he was still a disciple. The love of the lord, the mercy of Jesus! Isn't that beautiful? He wanted to reassure Peter that he was forgiven & he was all right. Isn't that beautiful?
