About the Book

Oogly Glook is an interactive book that puts the child in the role of the main character, embarking on an adventure in a strange and wondrous land. As this adventure unfolds, the child will meet various creatures, such as a crab, whale, gorilla and eagle and they will engage in interactive challenges, in the form of questions. Not only will they have fun along the way, but as they participate in the activities, the book will increase their reading comprehension, enhance their imaginations and build their self-esteem.

About the Author

Thomas Kareem Johnson, an after school teacher and youth tutor, has worked with children for the past 8 years, in various capacities. He has published work in the “Anthology of Poetry by Young Americans.” Mr. Johnson has a passion for working with the youth population. He grew up and lived in both the South Bronx and the Lower East Side of Manhattan. This is his first book.
