Charlie’s Heart is based on true events. It explains the importance of organ transplants in a loving way that children and parents can understand and accept the realities involved with transplants.

About the Author

Kim Evans lives with her husband, Jim, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Between them, they have six grown children, three boys and three girls. They have ten grandchildren and one on the way. Kim and Jim have one cat and one dog, both rescue animals. They both love to spend time boating on the many local lakes. Kim teaches special education at an elementary school.
