About the Author

The author graduated from the Iraqi Medical College in 1964 which was then among the first in the middle east. She completed her postgraduate studies as a member and then fellow of the Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynecology in UK. She served as a professor and chairman of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Al Nahrain University in Baghdad until 2006 when she took the last glance at her beloved city. At 2007 she joined AIMST university in Malaysia as a teaching professor for medical students. Finally, in 2009 she resettled in Philadelphia, PA in the United States.
